Why NFT is weird

Weird arts are being sold right now. It is weirder than ‘modern art’. A GIF of a animated cat sold for 580,000$.

Many digital art are different from the usual. There are random lines on people’s faces and being sold as art. There are really cool animations of the galaxy too. It’s a wide space with something for everyone. You can even find Pac-Man themed art. This is possible because even I can just go and upload my picture if I want to.

Yes, there are funny arts being sold for millions but there is no guarantee your art will be too. Anyone can sell their art now without needing a shop or a professional seller. It is easy, promotes creativity but very wide. There already thousands of digital art. In the future, it will become millions. So, you need something good or at least something people like. If a funny pixel cat can be, we all still have a chance but it is best to be there early.

However, NFT is still new and there is a lot of change to come. It might become even more broader. Imagine the day we can legally own a meme. We just never know. Even digital autographs. In fact, Larry Page(founder of Twitter) just sold one. NFT can become the new merch for influencers.

The possibilities are endless and we just have to watch to see what happens. I am going to take full advantage of this new space for sure.
